Is it “hands on”?
Generally not. Spiritual healing as taught by the NFSH is usually carried out with the healer’s hands some inches away from the recipient’s body.

What is the energy?
Healing energy is all around us. In essence it is universal - part of nature itself. It is available for everyone to use for the highest good. Healers learn to use their ability to tap into this natural energy and pass it on.

Depending on their individual beliefs some healers and recipients see the energy as divine; others see it as pure universal energy. It is often visualized simply as love and light.

Does it Work?
Yes. Results can be seen in animals and even plants, as well as human beings. Healing is recognised as an effective therapy by the NHS.
